Shiv Kumar Nagre is an Indian politician, belonging to Indian National Congress. In the 2009 election he was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha from the Shillong Lok Sabha constituency. He is a business man and active Social worker and working for the party since longtime.
Early Life and Personal Life
Shiv Kumar Nagre was born to Shri John Dkhar and Smt. Hermelinda Pala on 14th Feb, 1968 in Village Lamyrsiang, Distt. Jaintia (Meghalaya). He is a graduate in Civil Engineering from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College and later he worked as Assistant Chief Engineer in Meghalaya Public Works Department, India
He married to Smt. Dimorine Tariang and having four daughters and resides at Edamanary Cottage, Dhankheti, Shillong. His Delhi Address is 21, Balwant Rai Mehta Lane, K.G. Marg, New Delhi-110003.
Political Career
Shiv Kumar Nagre has been elected to 15th Lok Sabha in 2009. This was the first time he stands as a candidate for the Lok Sabha election. Initially worked as Union Minister of States, Water Resources and Minority Affairs.
